Topic: Theology & God’s greatness
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.
Colossians 1:15-16, ESV
Jesus is the earthly, physical manifestation and representation of God, the Creator of the Universe.
Do I really realize what and all that Jesus is? Hardly. When my mind starts to try to fathom His magnificence, it ignites the fuse to explosion. There is no way my puny little mind can understand the absolute “bigness” of Him and His abilities. However, I can acknowledge Him and His greatness. He is, in fact, above all that we can see and know in a cognitive forum. His Spirit exceeds our limits of knowledge, but we can appreciate the vastness of His influence. He is the very definition of what our soul seeks. He is the answer to every unanswerable question. And I can live in faith of Him and His plan without an exact understanding of all my mind questions.
Thank You for Your Son, Jesus. While I cannot understand ALL my heart and mind question, I can be content with the relationship You have afforded me to have with Him, You and Your Spirit. May I love Y’all with all that is in my capacity to do so.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
